I am so very sorry to say that the Portland Yoga Studio and the parent corporation which owns it will be going out of business. In order to be able to reimburse as many of our yoga community as much as I possibly can, the doors will be closed as of January 1st, 2012.

Opening a yoga studio in Montavilla always felt like a privilege and a dream come true. Closing this down is agonizing. It simply costs too much to run and even the clinic which has been supporting the studio the last year, cannot generate enough to make it through the upcoming year.
You can register for your refund in the following way:
If you purchased your membership through Groupon, you must contact them for a refund. They have explained to me that they guarantee their vouchers.
All others:
1) Send an email to [email protected]
2) Type your name and the type of purchase in the subject line. Type of purchase would be, Founders Circle Member, or 5 card, etc.
3) In the text please include most current email, phone, and address.
4) Allow up to 90 days for us to process your request.
The studio will reimburse as many people as possible, but there is not enough to reimburse everyone.
Memberships purchased through Groupon will be reimbursed by Groupon.
Founder's Circle Members will receive a 100.00 dollar refund regardless of when they became active by registering at [email protected] before February 1st.
After Founder's Circle Members, the most recent 5 and 10 card purchases will receive the highest priority but you must register at [email protected] Please follow the direction above precisely.
To all the people who have had their lives enriched by experiences and relationships at the Portland Yoga Studio, I want to say the following.
This business has been an expression of love and a passionate desire to make yoga accessible to everyone. I am so proud of what has happened here and I am so very, very sorry that it has to end this way.
